ABOUT THE ROLE

As an assistant store manager, you will be part of a dynamic team promoting sustainability and well-being.

You will promote Fjällräven’ s core values:

This is a full-time Assistant Store Manager role located in our Fjällräven Brand store Oslo, reporting to the Store Manager.

What You Will Do

Fjällräven Associates support retail operations and core values by:

• Assisting customers with education and demonstrations
• Embodying brand values
• Handling transactions and orders in store but also e-com
• Collaborating for excellent customer service
• Stocking products and handles deliveries
• Tailoring and waxing
• Maintaining store appearance after brand standard
• Providing excellent service on the store floor and in storage areas

You lead a team, in partnership with your Store Manager, and together delivers best in class guest experiences, through education, relationship building and brand experience.

You support in store operations, store financial success, and team/community development

Ensure store metrics align with values. Assist in staff training, code of conduct, and policies. Encourage community development and diversity

You Motivate, lead and drive team sales growth. Lead by example with store results.

You foster clear communication within the team

Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations, with areas of focus assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements For This Role

• Excellent time management and problem-solving ability
• Experience in motivating, leading and developing teams
• Adaptability and innovation
• Strong organization and time management
• Customer service specialist
• Problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Collaboration and inclusive workplace skills
• You are an experienced salesperson with some years within retail
• Demonstrated leadership ability (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication
